Course Description The 50K course is an out and back fireroad course beginning at the Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary and the Harding Trailhead. At approximately mile 9 is the first aide station at the top of Harding. From here runners go right at Main Divide Road. There will be marking for a left turn off Main Divide. This is for a short out and back segment that takes runners to the top of Modjeska peak. From there it is back up Main Divide Road to the Santiago Peak summit aide station at mile 16. Runners have done 95% of their climbing at this point and can enjoy running back downhill for 15 miles with an aide station stop at mile 22. Aide Station Information Aide stations for 50K will be at miles 9, 16 & 22 This course runs through a national forest - littering by any runner may be subject to disqualification and/or a fine! Cut-Off Times 50K: Overall Cut-off time is 9 hours (5PM) Sunset is at 5:25 p.m.
